Size
Our Bloomingville throws measure 160cm by 130cm. That is big enough to wrap round your knees on the sofa or drape over the arm of a chair. On a bed it works as an extra layer folded across the foot, rather than a cover for the whole bed. If you want to cover a bed, a quilt or bedspread is the better choice, and you can browse those in our quilts and bedspreads.
Fabric
These throws are woven from recycled cotton blended with other fibres such as polyester and viscose. They feel soft, with a relaxed, textured look. Several have fringing or tassels along the edges, which adds to the casual feel.
Colour and pattern
- Stripes and checks add colour and suit a plain sofa.
- Soft blues, greens and neutrals blend into most schemes and are easy to live with.
- Multicoloured designs work well as a single bright accent in a quiet room.
Looking after it
The care instructions on our Bloomingville throws are the same across the range: machine wash at 40 degrees, tumble dry on low, and do not dry clean. Check the label on yours before you wash it.
